#CareersAdvice has been launched to support young Kiwis navigating a new world of work, by bringing the voice of industry to the public. This initiative is being led by the ASB/KPMG Strategic Insights Panel.
We know that that there are so many exciting career development opportunities and it's sometimes hard to know what's out there.
So, a whole range of New Zealanders doing cool and interesting things have banded together and created a suite of free and authentic video content with careers advice for you.
In over 100 short videos, you’ll get insight into different career journeys, hear about the kinds of skills that are being looked for when recruiting and some all-round helpful advice from those already on their career path
As skills required by businesses change, we are thinking broadly and inclusively about how we define talent. ASB Executive General Manager for Technology, Innovation and Payments, Simon Tong, acknowledges this change:

Consequently, NZQA is preparing for a future where micro credentials will play an important part in the skills ecosystem.
Micro credentials will allow for a wider variety of skill development and training to be recognised through showing the level and duration of non-qualification learning against the New Zealand Qualifications Framework."
